About Us
Selina Savijoki is a Finnish musical theatre performer currently based in London. Her love for musical theatre was ignited when she saw her first show, Hairspray, in London. From that moment on, she pursued her passion by taking singing and dancing lessons, as well as joining musical theatre groups in Helsinki. At 16, she took on the role of Liesl in an outdoor production of The Sound of Music, a performance that deepened her connection to musical theatre. During her exchange year in Canada, Selina honed her vocal skills under the mentorship of opera singer Robert Martin.
Selina further refined her craft with a Foundation course in Musical Theatre at Bird College of Performing Arts in London, before returning to Finland to reflect on her next steps. In 2020, she returned to the UK to pursue a BA in Musical Theatre at the University of Chichester Conservatoire, where she graduated with First Class honors. Eager to continue developing her skills, Selina went on to study an MA in Musical Theatre at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, graduating in October 2024. Since completing her studies, she has been working as a freelance performer both in London and internationally.
A versatile artist, Selina is driven by a passion for storytelling and the power of theatre to challenge perspectives and create meaningful connections.
